Before you ask — a few things straight.

The honest answer: neither is “better” in the abstract. They’re two tools for different jobs.

A site written from scratch in code (hard-code) gives you maximum performance, full control and lightness — no ballast of unnecessary plugins, a smaller attack surface. The price: it takes longer and costs more to build, and every later change needs a developer. It shines where extreme speed, unusual features or a genuine web application are what matter.

A site on a CMS (e.g. WordPress + Elementor) is built faster and cheaper, you can edit the content yourself, and a huge ecosystem of ready-made features shortens the road to your goal. The price: without tending (updates, security) it can “run wild,” and built badly it can bloat with plugins and slow down. It shines where content changes regularly and time and budget matter — which is most businesses.

Our approach: we’re not followers of one religion. We fit the tool to the job. For most small and medium businesses a CMS wins — on editability, cost and time. But when a project calls for lightness or something out of the ordinary, we reach closer to code. The art isn’t owning a single hammer — it’s putting the right solution in the right place.

It depends on what it has to do. Most often a CMS, because it gives you the most freedom at a sensible cost. But if your project would gain from something closer to code, we’ll say so plainly and explain why. And sometimes the best answer is a mix — we combine both approaches when we judge that only the combination gives the right balance between the look you want and the ease of editing it yourself. We don’t sell you a tool; we sell you a result.

On a CMS — yes, and it’s one of its main advantages: small content changes you’ll make yourself, without calling anyone. On a coded solution, changes go through us (but in return you get lightness and speed). And if you already know you’ll want to manage the site yourself down the line — tell us right away. Then we’re not only asking “what gives the best look,” but “how to combine that look with self-management.” And if you don’t want to touch anything at all — that’s what the maintenance packages are for.

It depends on the package: Quickstart (you have the content) is a matter of days; Storycraft is usually 2–3 weeks; Concierge (with a full interview and strategy) runs from two weeks to a month. We’ll give you a real timeline once we know the project.

Yes. On-page basics are in every build package — we lay the site out so search engines understand it. And because SEO isn’t a one-off shot but a garden that needs tending (the algorithms change), keeping your position over time is the job of the maintenance packages.

That depends on the package — and that’s the whole point. In Quickstart you bring finished text and graphics. In Storycraft it’s enough to tell us about your business (a brief + a conversation), and we write the rest.
